“Middle class”, “Sirāt”… At the Lama festival, stars meet the public under a plane tree

In Haute-Corse, the film festival, located in a magnificent hilltop village, organizes exchanges as relaxed as they are popular between stars and spectators.
By Renaud Baronian, special correspondent in Lama (Haute-Corse)This is the game, every year, at the Lama Film Festival : all those who accompany the feature films presented each evening - directors, actors, producers... - must comply, the next day, with the ritual of the "Meeting under the plane tree" on the pretty little square opposite the village church, under a hundred-year-old tree.
Well, almost all of them: Ramzy Bedia, star — alongside Laurent Lafitte, Laure Calamy, Élodie Bouchez, Noée Abita and Sami Outalbali — of the film selected for the opening, "Classe Moyenne" by Antony Cordier (released on September 24), having commitments the next day, played along for the opening ceremony on Saturday 26th at aperitif time. Nothing to do with the Cannes chichis: here, the start of the festival is celebrated on the pétanque court next to the plane tree, in the presence of all the village inhabitants.
